ABOUT ROD
Rod Charlton is a registered psychologist who graduated with an MA cum laude in Psychology. He lectured at Post Grad level at RAU (now University of Johannesburg) for five years. He presented at numerous conferences both locally and internationally and was a contributing editor for the magazine “Psychology Today”.
He left academia to start a private practice specialising in positive psychology (growing people’s strengths, developing talent) and performance psychology.
Rod was an adjunct faculty member of the American University in Washington DC on their Masters in Organisational Development Program international consulting and cross-cultural competence module from 2011 to 2014. Rod is a founding Member of the Appreciative Inquiry Foundation in South Africa and the founding Partner of Stratfield Performance Consulting.
